YOUTUBE IS DELETING VIEWS (I Lost Thousands of Views)

YouTube has been taking away views on videos, recent reports show. And they confirmed it, so there's that. They're working through a fix now and we'll see what happens.

It's still happening. For small YouTubers, it does matter.

Youtube takes more than half of the traffic. Once, I embedded a video on Reddit, and within less than 2 minutes, I had 2000 views. To my eyes, the views dropped from 2000 to 600, but the video was so good that the views kept increasing. There were over 50, 000 views on Reddit alone. However, of course, YouTube did everything to make the video no longer discoverable in YouTube or Google searches. Everything they do, they do intentionally. This is still happening today, and they have no intention of changing it in the near future.

It was to the point where I could watch my ticker go up in my YouTube studio. All of a sudden it was like somebody turned off a light switch and everything just stopped. They are definitely screwing with people's accounts and sabotaging them.

Views went from 347 to 42 over night lol and it was stuck on 42 for weeks. Almost like they freeze the viewcount

Thank You for this, cause as a small Channel this is just shameful to see, legit having little view count and then nothing after a refresh. It sucks, it's shameful and should NOT still be happening today. Maybe a new Platform should be made to replace it?

i'm a small channel, and it started happening to me about a week ago. Very drastic; from 254 views to 52, from 78 to 1! etc.

This is still actively happening even now, the views dropped, show as normal in the analytics then a few days disappeared altogether and on top of that the realtime dropped to about 10% of what it actually was!

This is exactly what is happening to me right this moment, I had 40k vies now its 39k, I had 78 subscribers, and in 15 minutes, it went down to 65

My experience: 6 mths ago around 1200 hrs view time for life of my channel. 2 mths ago dropped to around 600. Now its dropped to 390. Please fix this YouTube!

This has just started happening to me in the last two weeks my videos don't get big number but I've noticed my video views start normally then they hit the average viewer numbers for the time time period it be uploaded then the views drop and then stop counting all together.

I have been seeing this happen on a lot of my videos and I'm about 100% sure this is not a glitch and they are doing it intentionally (maybe to keep small channels down or some other BS).
