Smiths speedometer (from Triumph GT6) modified with stepper motor

Doing an Engine and trans swap on my GT6 and there will not be a mechanical speedometer output anymore. Decided to have some fun and convert the OEM speedometer with a stepper motor so it can be driven by a computer. Yes there are easier ways to get a speedo but for me this is more fun that watching sports :-) The Odometer has also been converted to be driven by a stepper motor but has not yet been reassembled.
