Mudroom Renovation Part 11 - Rank and Tile

In this video, I install the tile floor in the mudroom. The tiles measure 8" by 48" and have a bleached wood grain look to them. The most important tile is the first row because it determines the layout for the rest of the room. I was extra careful when starting, and the rest was easy! I used a wet tile saw to cut all the tiles ahead of time and added metal edging to the step and doorway for a nice looking finish. Enjoy!

Great stuff. Full layout, precutting, dry fit, using this tile levelling system. Exactly the way I would do it for my first time in an unknown future.

I love that at 3:38 you reference mouse trap looking things. I don't know if it's just me but I imagine you specifically meant mouse trap the game. I don't think I've ever actually seen a mouse trap that looks like that.

You should have cut the tiles either side evenly so that you didn't end up with 1 full tile and 1 thin rip👍better on the eye buddy
