This issue right now is that the west propaganda has done such a good job everybody thinks Zelenskyy is a saviour so they ignore all the signs that he isn’t 🤦🏿‍♂️. Zelensky will either fight to the last Ukrainian or accept an increasingly unfavorable peace treaty.
This is worse than Istanbul which was not better than Minsk.

It's much more than 12 years ago when this conflict started. It goes back to the moment when Gorbachov was told the lie by the USA that NATO would not expand eastward "by an inch" beyond the Polish-German border of the Oder/Neise river. It reflects as well the Russian attitude of "A promise made is a promise kept". Gorbachov should have recognised the American duplicity as far their "guarantees" are concerned.
