People do not understand how difficult and expensive it can be for even someone who is blind to get a service animal let alone someone who might have unseen disabilities or invisible disabilities. I'm so glad that Mr Maple was made a part of your family

Thank you for the tears! I'm not blind but fearing going out in public without my partner is something I also struggle with. My friend suggested I get a service dog because not only do I fear going out in public alone but being at home without my partner got increasingly more difficult. To the point where walking down the stairs scares me because I know I'm so much of a fall risk. So I got a service dog. I didn't know how much a service dog would change my life until I got one. He's been with me for a year and I'm so much happier and more independent than I was without him
