I know this was posted awhile ago, but for anyone viewing it more recently....

The domain restriction for your second equation "wasn't working" when you had "y = -x + 5" because the graph is zoomed in to focus on where the stars are at (Quadrant 1, or the top right). In reality it was working perfectly fine. That particular equation exists in Quadrant 4 (bottom right) within the domain you specified, making it appear as if Desmos was not graphing the line because you can only see Quadrant 1 on this question. If you were able to zoom out to see Quadrant 4, the section of the graph with your specified domain restriction {10 < x < 14} would have been visible, albeit not in the desired part. You can see this by going to the basic Desmos Graphing Calculator and typing "y = -x + 5 {10 < x < 14}" into the equation portion and zooming out. You should see a small section of the line in Quadrant 4.

Either way, great video...my students are finding it helpful....although a few of them are using it to cheat rather than actually understand 😅.
