2023 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1: Start Up, Exhaust, Test Drive, Walkaround, POV and Review

👋 The new ZL1 Camaro is a BEAST!! 2023 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 has all the luxuries and all the performance! Today lets check out the new 2023 Chevy Camaro ZL1 with the manual transmission! Listen to that amazing sounding 6.2L V8! Full walkaround and review of the all new 2023 Camaro! This is the newest generation of the Chevy Camaro and is a nice daily drivable two door sportscar! The ZL1 is an awesome trim level that is pretty much the top trim level for the Camaro and you can even ad the 1LE package for a few more goodies! The 2023 Camaro looks great and has an aggressive front end design. It really is a car you need to see in person to appreciate. The rear end is very bold and has a modern look especially with the three dimensional tail lights. I also like how the 2023 tail lights are not red, the clear lens looks great! Seriously, the front bumper is so sick! The V8 models have a different design than the V6 and turbo 4. All look so good in person. The black exterior paint looked so clean with the wheel color and really shows off the brand new 2023 design! Overall I think the 2023 Chevrolet Camaro is a nice car with a lot to offer. It was comfortable, roomy, powerful and looks great! This 2023 Camaro ZL1 review goes over the entire car from inside and out. The interior of the 2023 Camaro was well laid out with minimal buttons with a clean look and feel. Recaro bucket seats add a great touch of performance. And all of the leather and alcantara give it that sporty vibe. Test driving the 2023 Camaro ZL1, the car drove great and has plenty of power. The 2023 V8 Camaro had an amazing exhaust sound too! Sounded great going through the gears. 2023 Camaro ZL1 exhaust also sounded amazing! There were some nice pops and gurgles on the overrun! The manual transmission was easy to drive! The clutch pedal is light and the shifter has great feedback to it! This Camaro also has the recommendation for skipping gears to help save on fuel which is interesting to see! Great review, but you did NOT fully release the 650 horses, on your gentile pulls. I bought the 2017 ZL1 new, and sold it a couple years later. Same gen model and almost the exact same car, except for the color & I had the 10-speed automatic. I like manuals, but the automatic is all I could find at the time. It was loaded out. Loved the car for exactly what it was. It was an absolute BEAST. The 2017 had the 50th Anniversary (Camaro) badging on it. Great car for the money!

The only thing that upsets me about the Zl1 is the very close similarities to the SS (cosmetics wise). For such a price jump I just want more futuristic cosmetics within the vehicle. As an owner of an SS the inside of both vehicles look alike. I want the ZL1 but I just wish it was more of a transformation for the 2023 ZL1

I have driven a 2019 2SS 1LE and a 2023 ZL1 1LE. The 2SS 1LE was a blast to drive. That magnetic ride suspension was amazing for cornering. What surprised me was that the 2023 ZL1 1LE is equally nimble albeit a lot rougher of a ride! How have I done this? Both cars belonged to my son. He traded the 2019 2SS 1LE for his new 2023 ZL1 !LE and it is now in our garage. He ordered it last spring and took delivery a day before his birthday at the end of December. The thing is a total beast. And, it has the bigger wing as well as crazy track tires. That is one thing I think most need to think about. You will probably want to get another set of tires for year round driving, especially if you don't live a a warmer climate. But, the ZL1 is soooo much fun! BTW, I can't believe this dealer put that sticker above the ZL1 badging on the back. It looks ridiculous. No way they should do that to a car like this.
