this is a phenomenal explanation of Jacob wrestling with God, thank you for taking your time to explain this, and explain the significance of this passage through the representation of Jesus Christ and His payment on the cross and restoration through His resurrection! This was sooo good!! I am doing my Bachelors in Religion and we are reading the whole OT, and just knowing most of the New Testament, there's so much representation of Jesus in even in Genesis the first book of the Bible, and there's 38 left!!! May I ask how was it possible that Jacob saw the face of God when in the New Testament it states no man has seen God. I personally would say it was God manifest in the Messiah wrestling with Jacob. I don’t know what is your opinion?
