Sea of Thieves EMISSARY VALUE EXPLAINED!

Recently I've been running into a lot of people who don't really understand Sea of Thieves emissary values, so I figured I'd put together a bite-sized video explaining the emissary values, how you can increase them, and what an emissary value is used for.

I'm such a dumbass. I thought the Emissary value was what you'd get after lowering the flag. I was so confused when I only got 5k. This makes so much more sense, thank you for explaining this!

Do only the people on top of the emissary value leaderboard get the cosmetics or is it for everyone that meets the requirements. Also is there a place I have to go to claim the rewards or just log on within a time frame.

Im still confused, i still dont know what the number at the bottom left is by the symbol. I understand the emissary grades and their extra rewards, but i still just dont know what the number means. I once forgot to put up a flag before playing and ended up putting it on when i went to sell a bunch of stuff, so i had grade 1 but like 300k value. What does the value number mean/do😂😂

I got a question though. If you got 400k emmisary value meaning your teir 3 getting the best reward. Do you still get the 1st and 2nd reward even though you are at lvl 3?
