I share some of my notes from 'A Monarchy Transformed: Britain 1603-1714' by Mark Kishlansky. I give my input here and there. Regarding the Protestant work ethic and moralism, I was greatly helped by listening to David Patrick Harry (Church of the Eternal Logos) discuss Max Weber's 1905 book, The Protestant Ethic and the Spirit of Capitalism. In a future video, I will get to the English Civil War of the mid-17th century and the Glorious Revolution of the late 17th century.
