Broadway House Project

The video depicts individuals who reside in New Jersey's only specialized care facility for HIV/AIDS patients, Broadway House for Continuing Care. In this facility, individuals receive a variety of services from healthcare professionals, who also provide life-skill programs to help them successfully transition into society. Residents achieve discharge from the facility with the assistance of supportive and dedicated staff. Some individuals benefit from the professional collaboration between Broadway House and H.E.L.P. U.S.A., a supportive housing facility offering additional support. The development includes 51 units of permanent residency. The majority of the apartments are available to low-income individuals or families who qualify for rental assistance. H.E.L.P U.S.A. houses several former residents of Broadway House who transitioned successfully through the partnership that exists between both organizations.
