Imagine if the Mona Lisa were to be repainted generation after generation. Like if a teacher tasked his students to make a copy of the Mona Lisa, then setting the copy of the student who did the best as the example for the next year of students, then doing the same for the best copy of that year for the year of students after that, and so on. Eventually, none of the submissions for a certain year would have any relation to the original Mona Lisa.

Fascinating. AI companies will have to collect data from new sources probably like our phone data. Ours texts, emails, transcripts of our conversations and even listening to our lives.

Hyping "content creator" shovelware about how AGI is around the next corner gets hundred thousand views, yet a realistic approach to this not so capable new technology is almost ignored .-.

That is exactly the reason why AI will never rule the world....because it needs human data.
AI will instead play an assistance role but never a leading role.
