2022 Ford GT Delivery Highlights

This is a quick highlight video of the delivery of our new Ford GT.

After wrapping up the paperwork, the truck arrived, and we walked over to the area at Pat Milliken where the truck was parked. We met Steve Coates, our Delivery Specialist, who started talking us through the big reveal when the side door of the trailer open. This was the first time we got to see the car. Super cool moment. My brother couldn't make it from the UK, so I was having a video call with him so he could see the car during the reveal, the first start up and backing it out of the Big Orange Truck.

After the car was out, it dropped into V-Max mode which is ridiculously low! I wrapped up my video call with my brother and went straight to Deanna and gave her a huge hug. This was a pretty big milestone for us and a dream we turn into reality together.

Steve gave us a rundown of the car and some interesting pointers. It was a fun day, as I could relay some of the stories from working on the GT development team at Ford in the secret basement.

Once we all had a good look at it and a walk around view, it was time for Deanna to jump in shake the dirt off her feet and get behind the wheel. I got in the passenger side, and we got ready to drive to the GT Clean Room they have set up specifically for GT servicing. Deanna was really nervous driving the car! Give her a bit of time with it, and she will be hauling it through the canyons of SoCal!

Poor Steve ran ahead and carried the two GT car covers we ordered!

All in all, it was a slow and careful 0.2 mile drive. We needed to be careful because next step is for the car to go and get a full PPF layer and a ceramic coat. Once that is done, it will be shipped in another Big Orange Truck to California. It's going to be a LONG WAIT!

Congrats and very bad lots of units where awarded to flippers and people that have never owned a Ford and never will ....may sound like sour grapes ...which It in good health I just keep burning rubber in my 2006 took Petty on me after hearing my disappointment with Ford and awarded me an F8 ....so all is not lost
