Trump says world is on the “brink of WWIII” with Russia’s war in Ukraine

Former U.S. President Donald Trump on Saturday told a campaign rally on Saturday in Columbia, S.C. that “through weakness and incompetence, Joe Biden has brought us to the brink of World War Three.”

“As President, I will bring back peace through strength peace – would have never happened. If I was president there would not have been a war with Russia in Ukraine,” he said.

Trump added that he could negotiate a deal with Russia saying “I would have a peace deal within 24 hours.”

Trump made the comments as he hit the campaign trail for the first time since announcing his bid to reclaim the White House in 2024.
