Its basically harai. Its disguised as some kind of osae or uchiotoshi.

But since you attack the shinai while the person is in kamae id call this a harai men.

Uchiotoshi needs opponent to strike and its movement is to harsh for osae.

I'd say that's the shikaki waza version of suriage men, you push through the centre, displace it ever so slightly and then strike men

It is more like a debana men to me, the striker initiated the attack at the same time the mototachi moved.

Why it isn't a harai men to me is that the striker was just suppressing the mototachi's shinai for a split second instead of deflecting their shinai.

I am seeing comments for kote-men... I disagree. The incoming fighter is going for men, but the responding player knocks the shinai out of the way and then hits men. If it was kote-men, wouldn't the shinai come up on the outside to target his opponents right wrist? I think it is more a suriage men than a kote-men.
