It‘s basically due to iracing not punishing bad habits after races. If this would lead to a loss of let‘s say -0.5SR and -100 irating points due to a protest afterwards, then we would easily have a way better racing etiquette.

also could i share some news with u abt my journey to sim racing

before anyone says “get a better thing like a car or education” i have education and i obviously cant drive a car at 13 on the roads and i dont have a license to go on a closed course and dont got a farm.


currently ive been using g29 for 4 years but i recently got a job (im 13), anyways i am saving for a sim rig frame and a r9 with all the accesories one would need for sim racing, i plan on using the same pc and just 2 different monitors but that could change to a less powerful pc. im a quarter of the way there with $900aud.

Idk why people do this. I try to drive safe always. Even though it's a video game, if you were to try this is real life, there goes thousands of dollars, racing career possibly, and your life! Drive like it were an actual race! Contact is for forza!

That's why I hate online racing. Nothing but a big waste of time to potentially be in the top 3 let alone 1st place. I'm good with my Exhibition and AI's. Still have tons of fun and be doing 30 lap races insuring me that I can get first place and tons of money.

I love iracing, however I think sometimes contact is a little over exaggerated and the way you receive so many incident points when it was clearly not your fault.
I got disqualified on a few occasions for others banging into me. (Yes still in rookies)

This isn’t a knock on GT, but overtaking games like GT don’t teach great overtaking skills. It’s all motocross style block passing, getting by as quickly as possible without regard for anyone else.
