I will wait 10+ years for paralives to make their game as good as they can. Especially with the livestream today I have little expectations. If Paralives is simple, works well on release, with highly customizable stuff, and easy to mod that would be perfect. I wouldn’t expect or ask for anything else honestly, just because I like what they’ve shown so much. It reminds me of a more modern sims 2

You know what sad that might happen, if paralives got released and had tons of bugs (which is likely and understandable) but the toxic ts4 players will rage at an indie developing team and trash them.

I support the paralives patreon and it’s honestly super cool to see all the things the team is working on. The animation system, the UI, the props. Etc. Im definitely buying it when it comes out and I think they’ll get a lot of sims fans as well. Unless EA picks up the slack with the sims 5…

FACTS!!! It reminds me of Cyberpunk, the devs were getting literal death threats when they kept pushing the release back so they went ahead and released it. People were T-posing in cars. Lol

Okay listen very carefully on why the big company cannot do that quickly. There something in the gaming community called Crunch and crunch culture this is were big company heavily overwork their workers to produce a game quickly, this won't only result in a few bugs or the game being released early, but it messes with the mental and physical health of the workers leaving many lacking sleep, food, burnt out, not going home but sleeping in the work place and no days off. So yeah will get a new game but at the expense of people's mental and physical health and it's not pretty and shouldn't be encouraged. Developing a game takes a a lot of time and I'd prefer it would go slow so it's released at it's best quality very little bugs, and no one ends up commiting suicide from the stress.
Also I like the character I'm asexual too! Aroace actually 😄

I actually want them to release paralives years later bcoz by then I would probably have a job and be able to buy the game myself, since my parents think spending money on games is a waste.

People throw ridiculous fits over how long it takes to develop games. It’s because most games don’t announce until they’re basically almost finished and have given people a completely warped view of the time it takes to develop a game.

Paralives is a game with a large scope and incredibly complicated gameplay, it’s gonna take a while. People need to stop bitching and learn to enjoy watching development.

I may WANT paralives now, but will I wait for them to get everything for the game ready even if it takes YEARS, yes! I have watched for years as paralives has gotten more and more beautiful and detailed and I cannot explain how excited I am to watch it grow even more, plus the paralives group are very very good at updates, and chatting with the public, unlike the sims team I know what im getting with paralives, and that alone makes me excited

On one hand it's nice that an indie dev team gets such massive support. On the other hand, all these people who insist they've curbed their expectations are still absolutely delusional. They've set themselves up for a degree of disappointment that is truly unfair to the PL peeps.

Oh, I didn’t know people were rushing them have never seen a post of someone saying that. But anyway the long they take the better the game will be and I will be waiting with my money until then.
