As a day trader I know how pathetic RH is as a platform and how they sell order flow to HFT firms and give terrible executions but I give this guy a lot of respect for creating the platform and I see a lot of similar platforms now with no commission and rebates to mirror this business model. I just warn any new trader or investor that RH is not a top executing broker or near top so day trading with them is not possible and their quotes are often wrong by a few seconds but buying stocks to hold for a bit you'll be alright just don't try to short term trade on there. If you can't afford a 10 dollar round trip trade with a better broker then you shouldn't be trading thats my 2 cents.

This is terrible reporting by CNBC. Robinhood makes a majority of profit by selling thier order flow to high frequency trading groups, yet CNBC focus revune questions on thier monthly gold member.
