Thank you for the review! I am an old-fashioned, long-time audiophile/music lover and actually do like a gap between songs. I am so entirely used to them, having played LPs and reel tapes years ago, and for old-time sake, I prefer those gaps. Really!! 😉 So, gapless playback means nothing to me. I am a-okay without it. Thanks, again, for the review!

maybe Arylic has an external DAC connection is in the works for the future? (sorry if u mentioned and I missed that). Being that an external DAC connection is very important to me, I am using the WiiM Mini in the bedroom and think it's fantastic. (I also have a Bluesound Node connected @ main system) ... the wiim also has an excellent user interface, is easy to use, and is priced under $100.

Could this be plugged into a power amp, and then use the S10 as a preamp to control the volume?
