I live in Japan and many of the local 5km/10km races here are measured short. I always keep running past the finish line so that I can get my record on Strava too!🤣

Sydney Marathon 3 days ago took place with 32C (89F) heat and minimal shade. I was running, walking, stumbling, limping but kept moving till the finish. No cheating!

Have seen it - did not, and would not do it - why am I paying to be in a race, if I don't want to soak it up, and cover every step of it, by my own power? 😄 I grew up in a culture that values going the distance, more than winning. I appreciate how lovely and freeing that is ❤, and I appreciate that other cultures might see it differently.

I ran a half marathon where they directed the runners the wrong turn which shortened the course. We didn’t know until well after the race. It was disappointing, but it was still fun.

nobody would have done anything about it if it wasn't for a FB page that committed to exhibit the cheaters. organizers don't care as long as they have attendance, it's so shameful
