You bought dimensional lumber, aka building lumber, for the 2x4. If you need square edges and do not have a table saw to square the edges, buy appearance lumber. Appearance lumber has squared edges. It is also more expensive. Regardless, your ideas are wonderful. Anyone can take your ideas and make them their own. I always enjoy your videos.
