OK guys, he didn't mean any disrespect to Anand. He just doesn't prefer his style of play. I don't prefer Carlsen's style but that doesn't mean I hate him! No! He is a brilliant player, so is Anand. Just take it easy. There's nothing here to get offended about.

Another great analysis of a fantastic chess game. An edifying, enlightening, and entertaining chess channel. Thank you for your efforts.

I want to call this a "teleported" queen, because she disappears from where she is on the board and then immediately reappears right next to the king.

I like Ananand but as a world Champion he has been one of the World chess Champions who have gone unnoticed the most, for several reasons;
1-He become Champion at a pretty late stage and by the time he achieved so computers were already much stronger than humans.
2-The generation of Carlsen, Caruana, Vachier La-Grave, Nakamura would benefit at a very young age of learning methods he lacked of .
3-He looks and act like the owner of an Indian restaurant in NY .
4-He‘s humble, calm & nice so that may people think of him as someone boring and because he doesn’t get cheeky like Fischer or Carlsen people talk less about him!
5-He plays quietly calculating things and is a very quiet positional player who relies on theory& a lot of experience he has than other do not.

I find him underrated but as an amateur I find his games very interesting, however I do not expect everyone to share my point of view, after all that’s the beautiful thing pf life sometimes

I don't know enough chess to dislike anands game but he has to be one of the classiest chess players ever. He plays down the praise like a champ. Even more impressive was how he lost to carlsen. Reporters asked if he would retire? and he said he still has allot to give to chess. Wow. There have been great chess players, but can you think of one that you could live with? Fisher, kasparov heck no. Carlsen is cool but hat off to Anand. Great role model.

From the very first move by Anand surprised me as he didn't played e4. Such a game reminds as a five times world champion is playing in a unique style. As older the wine better it tastes ## great game and nice analysis agadmator :)

Anand always impresses me with his style. He should get more respect and notable place for his brilliancy.

This game might also be remembered as: Anand's pawn sacrifice to teleport the queen from d4 to f8

Anyone's preference shouldn't have problem to anybody else...
I saw some mixed comment about it, and who want to bash India are bashing on a individual comments . So judge people not country...🙏🙏🙏

Wonderful game of Vishwanathan Anand. I think this game is one of the best game ever played by Anand in recent times.

My another favourite is Anand's game against Karpov, where same situation of pawn becoming queen in one move of opponent. Anand win this game too!!!

I remember watching live coverage of this by Seirawan and company. It was a beautiful move and Caruana looked stumped when it landed on the board.

Also, people getting butt-hurt over some random comment of Anand really need a life.
