Automatic solar trackers

Sometimes i think it is cheaper to just dubble the ammount on solar panels, than setting up things like this. At least with the actual solar panel prices.

I am very interested in setting these up on our property and I am working to do this... The framing looks a little "light" for the heavy winds we get here but I love the tracking setup

Good idea but safety is first periority, make the solar panel in such as way that if air strom or hailstrom occure than it will fold and then cover with metal sheet. Also solar tracker and washing of solar panel technology should be included.

the extra energy created by tracking goes into the tracking system so it is a zero sum game. Moreover, it is unstable and can be dangerous as wire can get stuck or torn apart by tracking model.

It’s now actually cheaper to just double the panel count. No motors or controllers to break.

What about the guarantee of overall structure strength against jerk of wind storm, i think it won't remain stable to face minor storm
