This "wistful, subtle" (Guardian, UK) BAFTA Award-winning comedy follows the eccentric members of the Danebury Metal Detecting Club as they search for treasure in the English countryside. Written and directed by star Mackenzie Crook (The Office), Detectorists also stars Toby Jones (The Hunger Games), Rachael Stirling (The Bletchley Circle), and Diana Rigg (Game of Thrones).

I like this so much I am going to watch all three seasons over again. It calms me and makes me smile during this time of world plague. I am an actor (and also very keen on archaeology) and love the very natural performances. The lovely folk music was a surprise, as was the obvious appreciation of nature, wildlife, and conserving the planet.

LOVED season 1 and 2....on the hunt for season 3 but am in Canada and have no access to UK online streams. So disappointed it ends at season 3!! Mackenzie is so likable.

Get a library card that includes an Acorn subscription or uses RBdigital (which also includes Acorn) and you can watch for free. I just found out about the show through RBdigital. I find I watch quite a few Acorn shows... liking mainstream less and less. Everything has become so heavy handed, when we need some reprieve the most!

Can anybody help a non savvy person on the internet on when this will be on Netflix or something, I detect an love this show so much but can’t finish season 2 knowing I can’t watch 3. Plz help?
