Using king oyster mushrooms and simple seasonings like coconut aminos, you can create a crispy, delicious plant-based bacon alternative that’s perfect for breakfast or adding to sandwiches. This recipe uses rice paper for extra crunch, cooked in the pan and air fryer.

☑️ Mushroom Bacon Ingredients
Use a vegetable peeler to thinly slice the king oyster mushrooms, then coat the mushrooms with the following ingredients:

Coconut aminos

☑️ Recipe
Cook the mushrooms in a pan for 2-3 minutes on a high heat.
Add the mushrooms to the air fryer at 370 degrees for 5 minutes.
Cut rice paper into strips.
Wet the rice paper sheet until it is soft.
Lay one sheet of rice paper down.
Fill with the sliced mushroom.
Cover with another sheet of rice paper.
Let this sit for 10 minutes so the two sheets can stick together.
Once the rice paper sheets are stuck together, cook them on both sides in avocado oil in a pan.
After cooking the mushroom bacon, let it sit, and it will begin to get firm.
