Living in Wisconsin has its pros and cons. Con: you can only go to the race track 6 months out of the year. Pro: When winter hits, just dig a racetrack out on a frozen lake.

Andy Smedegard of ASM Services took us out on a frozen Wisconsin lake in his 350Z to show us how they do it in the MidWest.

I've lived in Wisconsin my entire life and had no idea this was so doable. I thought it was only for professionals. Learn something new everyday.

Just when you thought you could not race on anything else.
Can’t wait for the second part of that K Swap! Love your guys’ videos!

As someone who lives near Wisconsin, I wish I knew about this a few weeks or months ago. Something to look forward to next year!

Apart from sledding and skiing, I just found a new sport to play in the winter ❄️

Love that you're building awareness for this type of sport! I learned slide control on gravel service roads at night so I wouldn't hurt anyone else, but having a lake to slide around on in daylight would be a much safer alternative. Keep it up Mr. Smedegard!

Love this! 35 years ago I used to set up and run the same ice racing at the Antlers (Tiki Bar for you younger ones!). I ran a RX7 with "nailies" on wore out Comp TA's from autocrossing. By far the best driving experience-Andy, I echo your comments. We used to go down to West Salem and run a course on the lake down there with the LaCrosse club also. Going into a 180 deg. turn at 105 mph was a BLAST!! I ride by your shop every day in the summer, will have to stop in some time and see your operation.

As someone who lives in Minnesota I can confirm there is nothing more fun than this, especially when you’ve got a plow truck to make your own course.

Now this right here, THIS is my kind of sport. I love love love snowstorms because I get to drive in them.. but I live in Seattle and it hardly ever snows here..

Type of thing that makes me wonder if I should have been raised somewhere like the midwest with bolder seasons and not s*** to do other than motorsports stuff and outdoors
