Thank you for taking the time to put these videos together. I am working towards my initial CFI, and these have really expanded my knowledge. Easy to follow along with and not dry as one would think.

Unreal video. I'm in disbelief this video has 2.2k views after being on YouTube for 5 years... WHERE are all the CFI's??

So as I understand. You would have to re-do the C1 endorsement if you did XC training to a “new” airport bc 61.93(e)(5) says pattern at the specific airport????

Question that relates to the end of this video: say that I had a student, and I was feeling bold. I endorsed him for his solo XC and he also has his valid 61.87 (“Oh”hell no) endorsement. Imagine it is winter time on the east coast and later in the afternoon where the sun sets pretty early. I send him off on his solo XC ( I probably would actually never do this :) do the two endorsements authorize him to be flying cross country at night? Or is the 61.87 (O) just valid for local solo flights?

Hey Todd,
A few questions: For repeated solo cross country flights within 50 NM to another airport, would the only endorsements they would need be the 61.93(b)(2), 61.93(c)(1), and 61.93(c)(2) endorsements. Would all 61.93(c)(1, 2, 3) endorsements be given when the solo cross country flight is more than 50 NM, with the 61.93(c)(3) endorsement being given for each XC flight?

Also, you gave the scenario for when the 61.93(b)(2) would be applicable, would it also be applicable if I have a student that simply goes on a repeated solo XC flights from the training airport to another airport that is within 50 NM?

Thank You! Appreciate the videos.
