I actually really enjoy playing as the small lil dinos, running around trying to scavenge a meal after a big fight. Outrunning and hiding from bigger aggressive dinos.

I hope we get an ability to climb on dinos and just scream in there ear lol

Very excited. The game company could add logs with larvae as extra food and yes, Microraptor preyed on small gliding animals. They could also add "squirrel nests" to the trees where you could find them. Three species I came up with:
Sharovipteryx
Icarosaurus
Volaticotherium
Later game company or mod creators could add Sinornithosaurus and Archaeopteryx so they had food already.

1 year later... Still waiting. But in all seriousness, i dont think they will/can release this playable until the foliage overhaul. The current collision boxes on trees and the like are too janky.

Evrima's Herrera is easily the most fun I have ever had across all 3 of the main Dinosaur survival games over the span of roughly 10 years, so I'm really excited for what PoT is cooking, would prefer something bigger to have the ability to climb trees but oh well, maybe Laten could also get this?
