This was the only bowling event I ever watched live ... I picked the most legendary bowling event of all time

You don’t want to get on his bad side. This guy… he used to burn paper with a magnifying glass… *at night*

Say what you want about Weber. He saved the sport on a pro level when it needed it. And he was present enough on TV every week that ratings took off. Plus he got even more clutch the older he got.

Pete talking with Belmonte after hitting the first strike of frame 10 is so wholesome, gotta love how respectful and encouraging he is to the other players, especially somehow who's idolized him for years

I don't know why, but for some reason at 56:43 the part where Randy says are we watching a bowling match or a boxing match. That part always gets me everytime. 😂

1:07:50 - This is AMAZING. I'm pretty sure it's Pete asking his wife "did he just say big balls?" holy shit, that makes this even more legendary on top of it being the 69th US Open.

And being this big of a Pete fan, you can't lose a match in a more heartbreaking way than Fagan did. What a match.

All-time classic match. Wow. Also, Gary Thorne was awesome as the play-by-play guy. I wish he did more bowling shows.

To all of those who are wondering what his famous, “Who do you think you are? I am?!” Quote is about...

He said in an interview, from For The Win, it was towards a child who was giving him shit.

He meant to say “who do you think you are rooting against me? I’m the man of this tournament!” But his emotions were so high, he couldn’t get it out the right way.

Say what you want about Pete Weber he was 18 years old bowling in league with adults and holding his own. He was a big part of bringing bowling back. No disrespect to all the pros. I love watching them all.
