This video is 6 years old as I comment today, but last night I came very close to getting hit by a scooter and blaming aside, it could have been very bad, and I am still shaken by how close things came, so yeah, I definitely need to be visible!

She didn't look ready to do more than push that bike.
Good tips. Funny that blinking lights are not allowed in the much more bike friendly Netherlands or other European countries. Their reasons vary.
It would be better if we had the best streets for bikes and other streets for cars and made walking easiest everywhere, right @notjustbikes?

I put a red handkerchief into my belt loop, and the wind lets wave like a flag!!!!The motion make me more visible from the rear..

And I have 2 lights on the back and one up front!
