I was arrested on 6/14/24 in Edmonds, WA for collecting petition signatures at a public event in a public park. The cops violated my First Amendment Rights. I did not resist arrest, but insisted that the only way I would leave would be if they arrested me. I spent 6 hours in jail until my wife could bail me out. I was strip-searched. My lawyer got my criminal trespass 2 charges dropped quickly and now we are suing. I have pledged to give all awards beyond my legal fees to good liberty-oriented causes. We live in a police state. If the left controls those levers of power, they will use lawfare against us. We have to take back control at all levels, and we need to dramatically reduce the budgets, the size, the scope and the power of government. The Bill of Rights is critical. We must stand up for it, even if it means getting arrested.
