Georgia Trump jury foreperson speaks about Mark Meadows' court appearance

Emily Kohrs, a 30-year-old Fulton County resident who was between jobs, suddenly found herself at the center of one of the nation’s most significant legal proceedings.

She would become foreperson of the special grand jury selected to investigate whether then-President Donald Trump and his Republican associates illegally meddled in Georgia’s 2020 presidential election.

When I was on the grand jury I could not tell anyone not even my wife if I did I could go to jail. That is what the judge told all of us. Is this any different how come the judge did not order her in contempt of court and lock her up? This is explained to you from the start why is this woman out there doing this.

Also ... Each grand juror must be absolutely fair in his or her judgment of the facts. Otherwise, the grand juror will defeat the democratic purpose the grand jury is designed to serve.
