Keith Richards doesn’t hate the musicians mentioned. He’s made offhand statements in the past to make a point, but he has let his resentments go. He has made flippant remarks about The Rolling Stones too, so anyone is fair game, including his early hero, Chuck Berry.

I've broken the vow I made to myself a while ago not to give the time of day to any more vids purporting to spill the beans on musicians' supposed "hatred" of each other. For some reason, my curiosity won over my principles and like many a lapsed sinner, I now find it hard to justify my momentary stupidity. Keith Richards is quite well reputed to those who look beyond his hell-raiser legend as an uncommonly kind and considerate individual. If he hates anybody at all, I'd imagine it would be for something a tad more substantial than producing music which isn't to his taste. The fact that he spouts ill-considered bollocks from time to time is not anything we should take at all seriously; he most likely doesn't mean us to I'd imagine.

The word hate is not in Keith Richards's lexicon and maybe Keith Richards didn't know (but should have known) that Elton John doesn't write his songs only the music. Bernie Taupin writes the words.

"Hate" is never established or even indicated in any of these. Richards having been critical of certain musicians is not, in any way equal to hating them.

Hate is a very strong word. To say that our beloved Keith hated these musicians is an exaggeration based on the fact The he has criticized them. He has to my knowledge never used the word himself...
It’s a fact that Jagger very much digged Bowie in the mid 70’s, so a kind of jealousy might have colored Keith’s views on Bowie. And Bowie’s flamboyant stage appearance obviously influenced Micks too which might have annoyed Keith.
On the criticism of Bowie’s music I totally disagree with my hero Keith Richards...

I attended the Rolling Stones's October 9, 1981 concert in Los Angeles. Prince was the opening act. After three or four numbers he was booed off the stage. In the long run, Prince did alright for himself. Keith like the rest of us is certainly entitled to his opinion.

As a guitar player myself, kieth is not someone i pattern my playing after. He plays a 5 string guitar in an open tuning ….to me that’s not the same instrument I play . It’s like taking all the black keys off of the piano to make it easier

Oh yes David Robert Jones better known as David Bowie may have been into the fashion and flamboyant but he was no Liberace yet l still love Bowie's music even if it is a little bizzare.

Prince is a valid point when trying to out stage the headline act but what we need to remember The Rolling Stones had been around since 1962. Prince's music is up there with the best but yes Prince broke the golden rule. Prince is not the rolling stones and never will be. Prince vs Michael Jackson I say Prince wins everytime.

I see Elton John got picked on for no reason in this case as it his publicist Bernie Taupin who wrote the words as good ole Reg wrote the music. It seems that Keith has forgotten that and as for Elton firing back at Keith then he is eating his own words.
