If your diet involves you feeling unclean, impure or otherwise filled with "bad stuff" that you have to cleanse out of your body with harsh and restrictive eating habits then you're not actually living a healthy lifestyle. I'd imagine that even the psychological effects of that kind of lifestyle would be horrible.
