Getting rid of my Monster High dolls is one of my worst regrets😭

My first ever Monster High doll was Lagoona Blue almost 8 years ago . My dad was very religious and was thinking about what the word “Monster” and their names’ meaning and hardly bought me a doll on Christmas . I swear that was my best present ever! I can’t believe that through the next 4 years he understood that it is ok to have these dolls and started to buy me one more often ( Easter, my birthday, when I got a maximum grade at some competitions, Saint Nicholas, Christmas).

I really wish I hadn’t gotten rid of my dolls when I was like 13/14 and just kept collecting. I was a fan from the very beginning in 2010 when I was 9 and over the years I had (not nearly as many as you) but up to maybe 30 and then I let the bullying get to me from kids my age for still liking dolls... I had most of the first wave and I think most characters up to when Rochelle Goyle was released either her or Neferra were my last ones. Now monster high is cancelled and all the dolls I used to have are like crazy expensive plus there’s so many more after them that I would need ha

My favorite monster high character is Serena von boo because she represents ADHD/ADD you don’t see a lot of ADHD characters in media and if so they are portrayed poorly. I didn’t realize Serena had it when I was a kid but I was like Omg she is just like me. I also do mermaiding so Her being a mermaid just add onto the amazing

i'm sure you've gotten a lot of comments like this already clawdeena, but i really wanted to thank you for encouraging me to be more confident in my doll collection! currently i only collect omgs, but i'm always afraid of being seen as weird and childish for collecting them as an adult. you seem like such a cool confident person, and i'm in awe of your collection. you make me feel a lot better about embracing my hobby, and i'm really thankful for that.
