Rustler by Wrangler jeans are a great vintage high rise jean from Walmart. They’re only $12. You can get them in dark or light wash. I use them for work almost everyday and they get some awesome fades on them.

Yeah, stretchy denim was a life saver for me. I tend to lose weight fairly fast and my slim fits would start to flap around the leg hole... Great video :)

My favourite jeans are the Levi's 510 and 511.

My top 3 brands are Ironheart, Bravestar & Levi's 501. Mid to high rise is what i like. I love vintage cuts. I try not to go past 8" leg opening for myself.

Haha I own a pair of black 514's size 30 waist, 99% cotton and I love them, they fit me perfectly and I can even tuck them into knee high boots. The length surprised me too bc even though I am female on the shorter side and not blessed in the rear end 😅 32 in length isn't too long. They fit just like my women's size 8 high waisted jeans.

Dude you deserve more subscribers, super helpful video. I just got a pair of Uniqlos selvedge stretch denim and they’re nice but the rise on them is low and it kinda sucks but since I’m 6’4 with longer legs it works out. What are your favorite stretch pairs of denim?

Of the more common classic brands lee is mid rise even in the regular fits . Wrangler has the highest rises and their relaxed fit is a full standard high rise at slightly over twelve inches tapper can be added when hemming by any tailor . I have found Levi’s to be very inconsistent in waist size, inseam length and rise .

Great info, can you recommend a slim stretch Jean's, I am 43 6' 2'' but I have a bit of disproportionate body type, short torso and long legs, when I bought size 38 waist 34 length I can only use it at waist and I don't like it. I like my Jean's just below the navel but can't find it any recommendation is appreciated.
Thank you.
Btw you said 3 and show 4

Great video! What pairs do you have that have higher rise, selvedge, and are tapered? What pair did you have on in the Huckberry vid? I notice the rise was a bit higher.

Back when I was young we all wore Levi's bell bottom 646 jeans. We all thought we looked great. But then I got a pair of shink-to-fit Levi's 501s and I realized how wrong we were and I quit wearing bell bottoms. Then in the 1990s guys started wearing baggy jeans, like Levi's 569s, and everybody thought they looked great. But after a decade they fell out of fashion and I almost never see guys wearing them. More recently the trend is skinny, slim, and low waisted jeans. They are the modern day equivalent of wearing bell bottoms and don't look near as complimentary as vintage Levi's 501s. Levi's is in business to make money, they will produce whatever jeans will sell no matter how inferior to vintage 501s. Ten years from now young people, and Mr. Mensch, will think of skinny jeans like we think of bell bottoms and baggy jeans.

Mr. Mensch has misled himself about stretch jeans being better. The problem is Levi's used to employ high quality cotton so their jeans were heavy enough to be used for working. Also the cotton was baby soft on your skin. But starting twenty years ago Levi's started using worse and worse cotton. Most of their jeans now use paper thin denim that won't last and their jeans are now for fashion only, not working. Today Levi's use denim that feels like sandpaper on the skin. If you compare stretch jean material to that, it appears Ok in comparison. But today's denim, stretch or not, is garbage compared to the denim Levi's used to use. Skinny/slim jeans use stretch denim so they form fit to your body, not because it is a better material.

Hey brother hope you're doing well, found your channel through The Kavaliers. I was wondering if you could help me with something please, I'm 5'7, 220 pounds so basically 36 waist I'm assuming because all my older pants don't fit which were 32 waist. All my fat goes straight to my stomach majorly, so my legs are lean muscular. The other thing is, I have knocked knees so when I wear my skinny 510 Levi's from the knee down it legit looks like my legs are going east and west, it's actually terribly noticable. The rise is another problem. So I was asking do you have any advice for me, I'm in Canada. I just want something which will stay on my stomach at the same time not reveal my knocked knees as much. You think I should hit up Levi's or American eagle or both? I know this was an all over the place comment 😂😂 would greatly appreciate any feedback you have for me, much love. Btw I did watch your whole video and did take into account what you said for fat guys advice still wanted to ask u for some more 🤣😂

Is there a difference between Levi's 501s and any other Levi's?

I’m wearing low rise but my butt crack shoes when I sit, they are perfect when I’m walking. Does that mean I need a mid rise jean?

lol, slim fitting jeans. We are really showing our age now. Apparently, slim/skinny fitting jeans are now unfashionable and for us old over the hill Millennials.
