Whenever Larxene started stating that Demyx wasn't capable, likable, or attractive, I just laughed, especially the attractive part.

Knowing Elrena/Larxene joined the Organisation just because Lauriam/Marluxia did and knowing these two go way back and most likely had feeling for each other, his "wtf are you doing here" in the beginning of this scene hits different.
He really didn't want her to turn back into a Nobody, but she just wanted to be with him.

And now with the Last union x update... (scenes with lauriam on flowers and elrena behind lightning storms) it seems that not only xemnas know something about them... But also the fact that He might know the truth about demyx and luxord. A thing that even xigbar do not seem to know.

Now that they're already defeated as Nobodies, Lauriam, Elrena and Luxord's Somebody will definitely return to play a role in the next saga.

P.S: I can see Elrena playing the neutral side and only helps the heroes when needed.

Interestingly enough, this at 3:46 connects to the cutscene between Luxord and Xigbar. It's safe to assume that he asked Xemnas about it later, but Xemnas said he never gave the order.

Going back to this after the ending of Yozora’s boss fight in re:mind, the ending of union x, and the ending of melody of memory, Xemnas having possible knowledge to Demyx and Luxor’s origins of being connected to Quadratum, and the knowledge of Quadratum itself, goes back to when Terranort sent kairi in the ark to find sora but also to abandon the mission if she ended up in Quadratum instead. And seeing how Luxu doesn’t have a clue who Luxord, and possibly furthermore Demyx, is, it further goes to show their connection to Quadratum cause the MoM never told Luxu about Quadratum. OR I could be wrong and Luxurd and Demyx origins are to be told in Missing Link and/or Dark Road, could be that too.

I see the little nod to the fact that they were supposed to be new members but something changed during development for KH3 and Nomura had to re-use the older members instead of creating new characters (who were all supposed to be different versions of Xehanort from different points in time). Otherwise why keep them hooded again for Dream Drop Distance and having Young Xehanort call it the "Real Organization XIII"?

This is interesting. Xigbar couldn’t figure out who Luxord was, and yet Xemnas seems to know the true identities of all four. Xehanort was defeated in the end, so we’ll never know what he did with these four and their legacy. But it does make you wonder: did he plan ahead of Xigbar and his master? Could he have put them in play before the revival of the other masters? Marluxia and Larxene were members of the succeeding order of masters in Ava’s new world who were looking for his sister. Now we can only wonder where the story goes from here. The legacy of the keyblade and the keyblade war are about to come full circle.
