Did you know that Norway is actually the 8th largest country in the world? And I can prove it! Norway main land is 385 207 km2.
But if we look at Norway overseas possessions, Svalbard is 61 045km2 and Jan Mayen is 377km2, so that together is 446 629 km2.
But in the south, we have the massive Queen Maud land, combined with Bouvet Island and Peter I island is 2 700 203 km2. So
446 629km2 plus 2 700 203 is 3 147 832 km2. That puts Norway Ahead of Argentina and behind India.

All countries from no. 1 to no. 6 mostly have habitable area less than India. Almost 80 percent of Russian land is snow covered. Almost 50 percent of China is desert and mountainous highlands. Almost 80 percent of Australia is desert. Almost 50 percent of USA is desert or snow covered Alaska. 80 percent of Canada is snow covered. A major part of Brazil is the Amazon forest. But for India only a small part is desert and forest cover is 20 percent, about 80 percent of the land is cultivable and habitable. Hit like button if you are an Indian.
