It makes me so angry, the way this gang is glorified in popular 'culture'. Not just in the USA. Right across the world.

Bonnie was overrated. They all were just thieves and murders.

As a lot of others have said, these people were just criminal - and homicidal - maniacs. They've kind of been glorified in American culture...which is weird, and, pretty sick.

We think of their love as being Romanic and we just can't get over how they were taken out. My grandpa lived in Texas when Bonnie Clyde was running outlaw. He said the laws warned folks about Bonnie and Clyde being heavily armed and extremely dangerous. Impulsive. And that they were mean and loved to rob and kill so beware. He told me hed of rather of ran into John Dillinger anytime than that crazy wild pair B&C. If you had ask the majority of people living in the states they were terrorizing and they were afraid and absolutely did not want to run into them anywhere.

I remember going to the movies in 1967 (I was 7) and seeing the movie “Bonnie and Clyde”. Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway in the principal parts. Gene Hackman portrayed Buck Barrow and Estelle Parsons played his wife Blanche. This is where I’m confused, they had an actor named Michael J Pollard playing the character as C.W. Moss not W.D. Jones. I have to wonder why they didn’t use his real name. Estelle Parsons also won the Oscar for best supporting actress. Gene Wilder who played Willy Wonka in the film, “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” made his film debut in Bonnie and Clyde.

Everyone keep the hating between Bonnie and Clyde however the judicial system then sucked. Don’t forget they murdered the couple without a trial in an ambush! Same as my hometown hero John Dillinger!
