I think there tired of Luka being predicted mvp for 4 years straight

Other weird things from this poll:

-Ja Morant tied for second most likely to have a breakout season

-Luka was voted the #1 PG, #5 SG, and #2 SF 😂 (meaning multiple GMs probably voted on him for multiple positions)

-the 5th most surprising move of the offseason was voted to be Risacher going #1 in the draft

- the rule voted most in need of a change was the apron/trade restriction rules (responsible for Denver letting key free agents walk in back to back years and the Wolves trading KAT knowing they got worse just to save money).

I love Luka & he’s my pick for MVP this year but picking Shai is quite simple he puts up great numbers with great efficiency & it’s more likely the Thunder have the best regular season than the Mavs so if Shai puts up 31/6/8 with the best record in the league he could get MVP over Luka who will probably have better stats just like last season

The reason Shai is at #1 for MVP is because his team is going to be soooo good during the season that he’ll get that benefit

Finished 2nd in MVP the last year. Team got better with better spacing, better defence. 2nd favourites for the title and favourites for the 1 seed by a BIG margin.
And you're questioning if he's a good enough MVP candidate? Yeah right.

Yeah Shai makes so much sense as mvp. I thought he should have gotten it last year too but this year with the team he has I think it's likely.
