As a kid, I remember getting almost 700 points in this game. I had the highest best score of my class mates by at least 200. Most only had bests of 300 or 400. They all thought I was some god at this game, and I thought I was too. Every time my friends came over, I was able to wow them with my skills in this game, getting 600. Then, suddenly... my skills went. I couldn't get more than 400. I played and played and played, and 400-450 was the best I could do. I wondered how I was able to get 600+ before then all of a sudden not be able to.

I later figured out what had happened. We had gotten a new TV. Previously, I had been playing on an old cathode ray tube TV, which actually ran the game a bit slower than the new LCD TV. So it turned out my "mad skills" were actually just the fact I was playing on an old, slower TV.
