OUR STORY SO FAR
We are Ellie and Graham.
We travel the UK in Merlin with our three little dogs, Maya, Luna and Jazz.
We are Wizard in the Wild.
Our love of the great outdoors combined with Ellie’s post-cancer complications means our home on wheels with creature comforts is a perfect solution. A great way to explore nature on good days and a cosy little bolt-hole for the others.
We bought Merlin in 2021 after six years of travel in our motor home Merv.
Whilst we enjoyed our adventures in Merv, we wanted something smaller and more nimble, so we could explore those tucked away places off the beaten track. Hence Merlin.
Initially we only used campsites, but as time goes on we are going off-grid more regularly and really loving it.
The aim of the channel is to reveal the true beauty of nature whatever the weather! We also feel it’s important to show the reality of van life, and not just the good bits when the sun is shining.
Whatever the weather, our motto is to just get out in nature. It’s good for the soul!

Graham looks great with his weight loss. I am also one that advocates diet and exercises over medication. Looking at Grahams, I should restart my weekly walking too!

Yes we missed you and the pups.
We try to keep the Carbs out. If it becomes a necessity LOL I try to cut the portions down. Yes it is amazing the folk who are diabetic. Metformin is know as Metfartin in our house. Parsnips work as a chip substitute. Take care and stay safe.

Nice to see you on screen and travelling again - looks like a good break to sort things out and that was the right priority - great weight loss and I know how good that feels - I list 1.5 stone on Keto recently although not a long term diet

Great to see you guys back on my telly. Wow, Graham you have done good, you're both looking well.
I've had my friend from Poland staying for a couple of weeks, and of course she brought me some lovely Polish sweeties. So I am trying to limit myself to a couple a day.
I've just had my annual MOT, everything was OK, but I think alot of that was down to all the weight I lost back in the summer when I was ill.

Glad you’re getting on top of your diabetes uncle Graham. We’ve been camping before so I understand what you say about convenience foods I have to say Through a Greggs sausage and bean pasty is my go to carry on all your good work and exercising and you will get through it. Eat less processed food and you will smash it
