So today we were sent in the kindergarten room by the teacher to entertain the kids and stuff. None of my classmates knew what to do. I found this lamb hat and put it on and started singing this. I instantly became the fave among the kids and my class was standing there with an odd look on their faces.

According to the show's creator, Alex Hirsch, the Lamby Lamby Dance was actually based off something that really happened to one of the show's writers when he was a kid. The poor guy's sister apparently made him put on a lamb costume and dance for her.
