I had a friend that took his life back in 2019, unfortunately I couldn’t go to his funeral, I was out of town. I’ve been going to his cemetery to find his grave for over a year and haven’t been able to find him, even had specific written down directions to his grave but still couldn’t find him until last week when I was looking for him a women that worked at the cemetery informed me that the reason I couldn’t find him was because he didn’t have tombstones, he didn’t have the money like everyone else, he was left just buried and not to be found and it broke my heart, at least I found him.. I’m sorry for sharing but this song hit me just right, I didn’t lose myself till I found my friend in a unmarked grave.. I’m letting my past drag me down but how can I change without wanting to give the respect my friend deserves ..

Weirdly enough this song is my life.I try my best to live and move forward instead of letting my past rule my present and future. Literally hours ago I was going to end my life and this song came to mind out of nowhere and I started to listen it.I cried for a longtime and cleared my head .
