Epoxy: Purchase high-quality epoxy from a construction materials store or specialized arts and crafts stores.
Tools: Essential tools include a workbench, utility knife, flashlight, masking tape, clamps, and woodworking tools for sanding and smoothing.

Step 2: Prepare the Wood Piece
Use a utility knife to remove the bark and any objects on the surface of the wood piece.

So the structural integrity on this piece compared to the disposable mass market bullshit that people but at Walmart, Target, and most "furniture" stores has to be like comparing cardboard to steel.
