My laptop (2020 hp pavilion 15.6 notebook) hard drive has been making this noise for a few months now, and it has been getting slower. It typically only does it when the screen is off and the hard drive is still running (not fully in sleep mode but not on either) and I just assumed it was failing. I guess it’s normal? It never did that until recently.

every time i hear my seagate 4T have scratching sound makes me scared! I had 1T, 2T expansion all sudden died after having beep sound

Did you ever fix that noise?! Mine has the same random head parking noise I’m guessing like 3 times a minute it comes randomly

I run a disk check and everything checks out ok... do you know if this is bad do the disk or just some random noise that’s just annoying? Lol thanks for the quick reply btw
