In this interview from 2013, Dave Wiedis Interviews John Lennox, Professor of Mathematics at Oxford University and internationally renowned Christian apologist. Lennox shares how it's not only possible to be a scientist, philosopher, and a Christian, but how these three aspects can and do interface.

Lennox states that the more we understand the universe, the more we must believe in a God; and that it is possible to engage in an intelligent, reasonable, and kind way when defending the faith.

God bless John. First guy I came across as a teen that confirmed to me that my pursuit of knowledge was indeed very Christian

What a beautiful way this man has of making complex ideas approachable and understandable. I could sit and listen to him speak on such topics for hours. We have always taught our children that if the God of the Bible is real and that if He did create all things, then there should be abundant evidence in support of that. The challenge to them has always been to "look and see" if it is true. And the reason we've taught them that is because there IS abundant evidence for God. In the sky, on the Earth, in the cell, in the microscopic universe. Everywhere we look we see order and design that defies explanation. So much so, in fact, that God himself has said that this evidence is so clear that all who stand before Him will be without excuse. Rom. 1:20

I've listened to Lennox about 50 odd times. I heard him talk about his faith, Jesus, the relationship between his faith and Jesus, Jesus and atheism, his faith and atheism, Jesus and his faith and atheism, atheism and and

Is there ANY video of him anywhere where he talks about mathematics?

Rom1:20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities, His eternal power and divine nature have been clearly seen, being understood from His workmanship so that men are without excuse.

Did any of you ever play with the decimal equivalents to the fractions of the number seven?
It's a six digit repeater.
What is unusual about it is all the fractions have the same six digits, in the same order, but with a different starting point.

Other numbers I've played with don't have the same property. Seven is special.

Thirty-seven is special too, but in a few very different ways.

Like Godel, Plantinga also utilizes in his Ontologic Argument, modal logic (S5):

A being has maximal excellence in a given possible world W if and only if it is omnipotent, omniscient and wholly good in W; and
A being has maximal greatness if it has maximal excellence in every possible world.
It is possible that there is a being that has maximal greatness. (Premise)
Therefore, possibly, it is necessarily true that an omniscient, omnipotent, and perfectly good being exists.
Therefore, (by axiom S5) it is necessarily true that an omniscient, omnipotent and perfectly good being exists.
Therefore, an omniscient, omnipotent and perfectly good being exists.

Plantinga argued that, although the first premise is not rationally established, it is not contrary to reason.

I love the story of Jesus and believe in showing forgiveness, compassion, and love to others; but I just can’t swallow the Old Testament.

Lifetime is an obvious subset of eternity.
It is reasonable to believe eternity with God is possible.
It is unreasonable and irrational to live to ensure a trashed eternity.

We started with 10 commandments...how many laws are on the "books" today? How many interpreters are needed? God law is simple and just if we all knew of it and followed it accidents would be indeed genuine accidents as they all are already and by gones would be by gones and let go at the moment of inception because there would be no need for deception so both parties could be open to the compromise reception. Thank you God for all the blessings and lessons and for Jesus Christ.

Jesus said that all the books of the Old Testament contained messages ( prophecies) about Himself. For 3x. He would be born in Bethlehem.
There is plenty of love, compassion and forgiveness in tbe Old Testament if you look for it from God.
But He is not just a God of love but of Justice, and when His loving laws are broken and innocent people are hurt as a result, the Justice of God eventually falls on the Lawbreaker
Remember that if we love someone we will not steal from them, tell lies about them, go off with their marriage partner, etc.
Saying we just have to be good, if no-one spells out what Goodness is, means we just invent our own code, which isn't the same as someone elses code of 'being good.'
So even the 10 Commamdments are all about Love.

"Albert Einstein's religious views have been widely studied and often misunderstood.[1] Albert Einstein stated that he believed in the pantheistic God of Baruch Spinoza.[2] He did not believe in a personal God who concerns himself with fates and actions of human beings, a view which he described as naïve.[3] He clarified however that, "I am not an atheist", [4] preferring to call himself an agnostic, [5] or a "religious nonbeliever."[3] Einstein also stated he did not believe in life after death, adding "one life is enough for me."[6] He was closely involved in his lifetime with several humanist groups.[7][8]" (Source: Wikipedia)

I marvel at the simple mathematical evidence of a creator in nature which is all around us. Like the Fibonacci series and the Golden Rectangle.
