Loved the video. The final four format is super nice for the EuroLeague, it’s its trademark. A bit unfair, maybe, but it guarantees an unpredictability that the series format would not, especially in a best of 7 series. I hope it will stay

Soo, as an Olympiacos (or dead) fan I'm sure that if my team was about to face any European team in a best of 7 or 5 series this year there was no chance to be beaten by anyone as we had not so many chances to beat CSKA back at 2012 BUUUT come on bros, we're from Europe! I'd rather living half my life as a Greek European than spend 3 lives as an American and watching best ofs etc! F4 for life!

Final four is a great weekend but not a good format. I personally want to watch more matches at the highest level. Series is the way to do this. EL regular season is great, play-offs are better it would be awesome if the semi-finals and finals would be series too.

although Rice game winner was in the semi-final, it did have a great effect in the final for confidance and beliving everything is possible, facing up against Real madrid that humiliated maccabi in the Regular season games of that year.

I am a Greek and Oly fan but most of it iam a fan of Basketball! Olympiacos has lost more from F4 events rather than having the chance to compete in series finals. For example Saragossa f4 this years f4 and the 2015-2017 f4 when we played in home of the winners! It would be sure that we would beat and take the trophy against Batalona in a series of finals, it is definitely that we would beat Real this year in a series and it would be very different competing against Real and Fener is series finals rather playing against them in their home f4. Yes we would not beat CSKA in 2012 but i am sure we would have more titles than only 3 in 9 finals! Moreover a series finals like in NBA would bring and other glory in the league, would bring more profits in the teams and make Euroleague a much more reliable professional competition respecting the product and giving the opportunity to the best team to win, things that don't count and don't happen in f4 situations!

Like the Copa del Rey in Spain, the F4 guarantees drama and decision making moments where skill and tactics matter. For consistency we have the regular season I think.

I also believe we need more plays tactical analysis on NBA and less highlights.

Euroleague needs a play-in tournament so that less great teams are left out of the postseason.

There is nothing great about that the buzzer-beater author was the person who played dirty in play-offs, somehow avoided suspension and now somehow became 'a hero'. Shame to Euroleague.

It would be good to scrap the 3rd / 4th place play-off in the final 4 maybe consider extending to a final 8. Alternatively, the format should move to a play-off series which I think would draw bigger audiences. The Fener-Olympiacos, Real-Partizan, Monaco-Maccabi were top this year. It would be good to have a trophy for the league winners as well.

"Greatest Euroleague season ever", Augustas? With the Russian teams banned and Real Madrid getting to the F4 after the Yabusele scandal? The eventual champions didn't even deserve to compete for the title, the fact that they were not ejected from the competition is a complete travesty, and the man who started one of the most shameful incidents in the history of the competition not only isn't punished at all, but is now heralded as a hero?

Come on, man. This season was an absolute farce. It actually created a precedent that if you play for one of the big clubs and your series has gone to shit, you can start a fight and turn it around.

I don’t care that it makes for a better ending, if the ref notices there is a travel it should be called . If the ref had noticed sloukas’ travel, as an olympiacos fan, I would have been ok with it being called a travel, because it was, just like micic’ shot in the semi-final last year. My opinion though is that if you need slow motion replay to determine whether it’s a travel or not then there was little chance you could, as a ref, notice it as it is happening (micic’ shot and sloukas’ shot for example). The difference with llull’s shot is that it is clear as day from the first time you watch it and thus this should have been called.

Greatest euroleague season Oh my God you guys are too young you are watching seriously the game a few competitiveness doesn't mean quality but same level opponents nowadays euroleague is a joke for many reasons the biggest is the nba decision to invade in Europe...come on guys there are few players who are in top level.. compare that with 80s..90s until mid 2000 😂😂
