I was at early voting the other day, and I saw a situation like the recent commercial from the Harris campaign.

A woman came to the booth next to me to vote. The rows of booths were set up back-to-back. Her husband was behind me and a few booths over. Out loud for plenty to hear he said:

H:"Why don't you come stand next to me?"

W:"Why does it matter?"

H:"I want to make sure you aren't voting for the wrong people."

I couldn't believe I witnessed this in person, and that the guy was unashamed of doing this for plenty to hear. Idk who she voted for, but I'm glad she got some privacy.

Please go out and vote, this is a turnout race above all else.

Honestly, some people out there are just so dumb. You don't need a degree in economics to figure out why you can't put tariffs in place and magically solve issues with no drawback.
Best case, to buy all American you will need decades of economic initiatives to adapt to such a scenario, and it still wouldn't really work. Products can't be as cheap as other countries' because labor costs more, and if it didn't it would be because workers get paid less, which has the same results of creating an economy where people can't afford what they manufacture. Let alone solve the issue of raw materials that just aren't available in the US, or at least not enough to support the internal demand. You can't conjure stuff out of thin air.

I have a math degree, and I get that. I might miss some of the finer points, but it's not rocket science.
