JD Vance: 'Protecting Our Daughters Should Come Before Promoting Harmful Agendas'

In this passionate statement, Senator JD Vance shares his concerns as a father, addressing the growing debate surrounding biological males competing against girls in sports. Vance highlights the risks this poses to young girls, including his own daughter, emphasizing that fathers have a duty to protect their daughters from potential harm. He criticizes the priorities of leaders like Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz, accusing them of pushing a "warped value system" that ignores common-sense American values. Vance argues that instead of focusing on policies that protect children, leaders are prioritizing ideological battles that endanger them. He stresses that American families simply want practical outcomes like affordable housing, safe streets, good schools, and a secure border—policies that ensure the well-being of future generations. For Vance, this issue of fairness and safety in sports is symbolic of broader leadership failures to address the real concerns of the American people.

It's like two arguments are being made in this discussion. Most of the time, I don't see Republicans advocate for trans people to play any sports. It's mostly just advocating for some type of ban. What they do seem to advocate for is keeping sporting organizations the same. I don't see much wrong with that. Most of the time, I don't see Democrats advocating to protect girls in sports. It's mostly just them advocating for everyone to be involved. There could be a solution that would benefit both styles of thought- creating a new league/division. In my experience; however, a lot of schools cannot afford a new division- let alone fill it with enough people. That is why I do not call this political topic a good faith argument because the Republicans are arguing to keep women safe and the Democrats are arguing to allow trans people into sports. The opposite of each's goals are not what either of them are arguing for/against. It's really just old political speak to drum up more votes. The right will win votes by providing a sense of security and protection. The left will win votes by providing a message of inclusivity and diversity. Neither message is a solution to bettering the sports organizations as a whole. A major change that would benefit many would be to send referees from southern schools to officiate games in the north and vice versa. The biased officiating can be a serious problem. Removing anyone that may have a bias towards one player or team would eliminate (or largely deter anyone from) that bias. Again, adding an additional division would satisfy both clauses- women's safety and letting trans people play. I already mentioned the difficulty in funding that though. The most horrid factor in all of this is the elimination of ideas! No one should be belittled for their beliefs or values! We all are different. We will hold different things valuable. There are many in this argument that don't care because they don't even like sports. That's as valid as the opinions of an avid fan. Most importantly: don't forget the values you come from. The golden rule applies here too. We shouldn't be advocating to ban more people nor hurt others. We also need to learn to get along better. Sorry for the long reply but there isn't a simple one size fits all for this if you are going to include everyone. Either argument could make sense to you but do not be violent towards those you disagree with. Thank you.

Exactly, my daughter is 33 and during the Olympics we got in a huge fight over the women's boxing. She actually got mad because I said that there's absolutely no way those men should be able to compete against women. She said there not men so I asked if they can get a period and if so where do they put the tampon. Any goes ballistic and starts arguing. I simply said you can't argue with biology or physiology. I told her if she ever has a daughter and allows a man to compete in a physical sport against her own daughter then she and any other parent should be considered unfit to raise a child. I just can't understand how any woman could be in support of this
